THE OPPOSITES
The Opposites is a rapper duo consisting of Big2 and Willem. Much has happened since their 2005 breakthrough with hits like "Fok Jou" and "Slaap" from the album "De Fik Er In." The duo grew into one of the biggest Dutch-language hip-hop acts in history, until their hiatus in 2014.
Twan & Willem scored hit after hit with singles like "Dom, Lomp & Famous," "Broodje Bakpao," "Licht Uit," "Sleepless Nights," "Hey DJ," "Sukkel Voor De Liefde," and "Thunder." Tracks like "Me Nikes," "Geen Klasse, Geen Stijl," "Sjonnie & Anita," and "Op Een Level" became floor-fillers in clubs and at festivals in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Live-wise, the band has become one of the most energetic and trendsetting live acts in the Netherlands and Belgium. Their album tours consistently sold out, and they were festival favorites for a decade, headlining festivals like Solar, Pukkelpop (BE), Lowlands, Mysteryland, Tomorrowland (BE), Pinkpop, Zwarte Cross, and Rock Werchter (BE).
