TUSKY

“Tusky is the sweet nudge between your eyes that you crave so much!”

The Low Countries' most energetic band has been ready to sweat on any European stage and warmly welcome their audiences with the heaviest, fattest, fastest, and coolest material since their inception in 2016.

Since then, Noorderslag, Zwarte Cross, Jera on Air, Liberation Festivals, Paaspop, Welcome to the Village, MadNes and many Dutch, Belgian, German, Austrian, Swiss, French and
Spanish clubs need to beef up their stages (it's not just Tusky's music that's heavy), and they've unleashed two albums that sound like Dave Grohl had the worst shitty day of his life and then went into the studio with Tony Hawk in corps paint. No idea what that means, but that's what it sounds like.

Tusky was born out of pure love between guitarist Alfred van Luttikhuizen, guitar tech Sjors van Reeuwijk and drum tech Bas Allein Richir (all three from the John Coffey team), supplemented by bassist Justin Ghijsen, who was later succeeded by John Coffey guitarist Christoffer van Teijlingen on bass. In 2018, debut album 'Rated Gnar' followed on V2 Records, which
A hungry and fiery band that was heavily influenced by 90s punk rock bands. After Alfred and Christoffer left in 2020, Tusky was joined by Vladimir Stevic and Quirin Wijgers from Pene Corrida and All Doomed, and their second full-length, "What's For Dinner?", was released on Suburban Records in April 2022.

Tusky is currently working on new material with mixing engineer and Grammy Award winner Adrian Bushby. After years of close contact, a collaboration has finally been established with Bushby, who is known for his work with the Foo Fighters, Muse, and the Spice Girls (to name a few).
The first single from the new work will be released in the spring of 2023

I saw them play their latest album, 'What's For Dinner,' live at Madnes, and I'll write a quote about it now: "I don't have the body that's naturally suited for stage diving, yet there were regularly 95 kilos of grown man writhing on the steaming audience. Tusky is my favorite band." – Magic Tom (amazing magician of the duo Magic Tom & Yuri)
